Lace Up

Lace Up is the debut studio album by Machine Gun Kelly, released on October 9, 2012, through Bad Boy Records and Interscope Records, with Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs serving as executive producer. The album debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200 and was later certified Gold by the RIAA. Driven by the breakout single "Wild Boy" featuring Waka Flocka Flame, Lace Up showcases MGK's signature rapid-fire flow and aggressive, raw delivery rooted in his Cleveland upbringing. The album features an impressive lineup of guest appearances including DMX, Bun B, Lil Jon, Tech N9ne, Twista, Ester Dean, and Avenged Sevenfold's M. Shadows and Synyster Gates. With themes of perseverance, ambition, and underdog defiance, Lace Up established MGK as a force in mainstream hip-hop and laid the foundation for his loyal "Lace Up" fanbase.
